The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development takes part in the Ministerial Meeting of the United Nations Conference on climate change 2021 (COP26) in London in Great Britain. 





 Meeting from July 25 to 26, 2021 in Ballroom, Park Plaza Westt, the Ministers of UN member countries in charge of climate change issues will lay the basis for discussions for the adoption of common agendas at the COP26 conference in Glasgow in November.  


 In his opening remarks to this Ministerial session, * Alok Shama *, the President-designate of COP26 called on States to seize the opportunity to finally find an agreement on how to effectively combat climate change in through compliance with the commitments made, including the implementation of emission reduction plans. 


 This inaugural session was also held in the presence of the UN Deputy Secretary General Amina Mohamed and Madam Carolina Schmidt, President of the COP25 . 

 * COP26: Need to intensify adaptation * 

 What results are needed at the Global level on adaptation to COP26? 


 How to ensure an effective assessment of collective progress towards GGA upstream of the global assessment?
